This collection, "Journey into Liberty",  follows the footsteps of Jessica, a dancing girl, trying to find her feet, rhythm and joy again after hitting rock bottom. Yet it was upon that rock that she discovered a hope she never knew the depths of until life felt shattered. Inspired by the life of Nelson Mandela and his “Long Walk into Freedom” -  from prison to president - hope began to shake the bars of her internal prison bars of fear and insecurities. In the very places of her greatest weaknesses and deception, she let herself dream again for a brighter and more colourful future. 

Adamant to find the true answer to the questions “who am I & what is beauty?", she painted a 4 meter paper scroll to discover the answer. Only to discover: “who we are is the beauty”. Dancing upon the paper scroll with paint on her feet, and taking it everywhere she travelled round the world, it became a healing journey of her mind, body and spirit. With every step, fear of people’s opinions began to fade as freedom felt tangible, not just in her heart but also through the fabrics she created from the journey.  Leaving a legacy for others to believe that there is HOPE, even in the rockiest moments of life. Each fabric design has its own story - mostly coming from a place of fragility and pain which she turned into beauty…
